My First Christmas

Well my first Christmas was really exciting....There were a lot of folks over at Grandma and Grandpa Merritts on Christmas Eve..... Everyone was excited to see me......

And look at my bib, I am ready to eat........ It says " What Santa Doesn't Bring Me Grandma Will"

Here is a great pic of mommy...She was looking beautiful at the party!

Here is grandpa helping me open a present.......I can't wait to see what it is.


It is a baby doll...... I am young and not real sure what I am supposed to do with it though.

What da??? I also got this big ol pink thing with all these frizzy things coming out of it....It is almost bigger than I am...But I am sure I will have fun playing with it!


The next morning I was ready to see what Santa brought me...But first I wanted to get into some of that Christmas cake that mommy bought.....Hmmmmmmm it was great!!



In my stocking I didn't get all the candy that everyone else got but I did get a banana and a brand new sippy cup that sissy is showing me.

I have my sippy cup...Now let's put some sweet tea in it!!!!!



I was able to open one of my presents by myself and it is a bouncy horse.....I can't wait to get on this toy!

Yipppe yeee cowgirl !!!!!! I am riding my horse......


Hey, over here........Someone please help me back on my horse please!!!!!


Look at me...I thought I would climb into this box for fun......Now how am I going to get out???

Christmas Party

So I am a little bummed as my Miami Dolphins lost today but I did get a chance to go to my first ever Christmas party last night at my great uncle Bills. There were a lot of people there and everyone was happy to see me.

I have my new outfit on and here is sissy holding me...Lets roll, I am ready to go!

Everyone was soooo happy to see me..... It is nice getting all of this attention...

When we got home mommy and daddy put me in my crib but I was not ready to go to bed. Let me out of this jail please........

NCSTATE and SANTA

First off lets talk about that Wolfpack win over the Tar Heels in football.. Three years in a row now... We own the Tar Heels ..

Well Daddy had a bet with mommy and whoever won the game gets to flag to fly the flag until the next game which will be the basketball game. This flag won't be up long but I will keep my fingers crossed that we can beat them in basketball .

So we went over to Pipers house for a Christmas party and me and Piper were playing on the floor.




Hey now, hands off, you are getting a little rough..Piper was real excited to see me and she was wanting to hug me but I think she wanted my toy!




Santa showed up at the party...I have never seen Santa before..




Who is that guy?? For some reason I can't take my eyes off of him!




Here is Santa giving out presents to all of the kids. All of the kids are eagerly awaiting their present. I can't walk yet so I am sitting back chillin!


Look at this present. This is mine but I have to sit on his lap to get it. I am a little confused but I know there must be something good in this wrapped present.



Here is my present...Santa brought me a NCSU sleeper and a NCSU teddy bear! YAAA! GO WOLFPACK!


I LOVE MY WOLFPACK BEAR! I am giving it a big hug!!!!!!!

Guess what.... Miami won today...They beat the Patriots.......Awesome!!!!!!!!! Daddy's fantasy team beat down the Godawgs..... What a weekend!

THANKSGIVING

This was my first Thanksgiving and everybody came over to the house and we had a great meal..I love eating and there was plenty of food to eat!

Daddy was trying to give me some sweet potatoes but I was interested in what everyone else was having.


I gave in though and it was great....... I love solid food...


Hey, what are you eating over there..I want some!!!!!!!!!!



This is a great picture of my cousin Anna and my sissy Tori sitting with me.. One day I will be a big girl like them.

Grandma and Grandpa Hunsucker wanted in the picture so we made room on the couch for them. Grandpa was ready to take a nap after all that food that he ate.




Grandma and Grandpa Merritt came over and I was happy to see them! I just woke up from a nap so I was a little groggy and still had my pacifier in! I missed my uncle Tim when he came to visit because I was taking a nap! Hope he comes back soon!



I love my grandma Merritt...I wanted to give her a BIG HUG!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Well today is my very first Thanksgiving and I am excited because everyone is coming over here for Thanksgiving lunch today. And for Thanksgiving all I want is for the NC State Wolfpack to dominate the Tarheels on Saturday so daddy can fly his NCSU flag at the house. He has a bet with mommy and I don't want to see that carolina blue flag all winter....

So Daddy bought me this walking toy to help get started walking...I have been trying to walk for a couple of weeks now and this down is "slick"... It still goes a little fast for me sometime but when I am bumping into stuff it is perfect.

What do I see over there..... Is daddy eating something? I must go and investigate....


Ooooooh my......Chocolate Ice Cream.......Yummmmmmmy! Daddy shouldn't be eating that because he needs to get on the program but I love it when he does because I LOVE chocolate ice cream......



I am not very good with keeping it off my face though....




I want more please............................

9 Months Old Now

Hello, I am nine months old now...I went for my checkup the other day and the doctor says I am growing like a weed....I haven't gained any weight but I am getting taller...So here are a few pics from the past week....Hope you enjoy them..

Mommy and Daddy took me and sissy to the Renaissance fair.....There was a lot of people all dressed up crazy wearing tights and dresses and funny hats and were talking funny....... And that was just the people that were paying to get in... Here is a pic of me and sissy and I am holding my dragon...


My daddy's nice manager Caryn give my Daddy this prize at their dinner the other night...It is a balloon man and it has " Best New Dad" wrapped around his neck.... She also gave him a picture of me in a frame to put on his desk at work. Daddy has been working lots of hours and traveling and this was a very nice thing she did to recognize his work since he has been missing out on spending some time with me.


When Daddy gets home I like to pay him special attention...Here is me trying to climb up in his lap and give him a hug.


This is my huggy bear.... I like to lay on the floor and give him a great big hug too...He is sooo soft and cuddly!


This is my little playground in the floor of the living room....I also love laying on my Miami Dolphins blanket..... GO FINS!!!!!!


Here is my John Gruden look.....He used to be the coach of Tampa Bay and he has this scowl... I can do the scowl....

Oh look a stool.... I like to crawl into the kitchen and grab on to the stool and pull myself up! I am almost as tall as the stool now.


LOOK DADDY, one hand,,, Before long I am going to be walking and then I can go everywhere in the house..


I get real happy when I do something new....... Look at me........ Before long it will be no hands..
