My First Applesauce

This weekend was a pretty big weekend for me...I spent all day Saturday with Grandma and Grandpa Merritt as my daddy went to play golf. He got me up real early to take me over there but I was up for it...I am an early bird just like my daddy.

Today I had my first taste of baby applesauce....Hmmmm! It is a lot different from that ol formula I have been drinking forever.

Hey, who took my applesauce? Somebody better bring it back or I am going to pitch a fit....

Trying To Talk

Here is a short video of me being a little fussy trying to tell my daddy what I wanted. The quality is a little grainy because we were in the bedroom where the lights are dimmer... It is pretty cool though, I show him my pouty lip.......

Happy Birthday Megan

Hello, I am two months old today and whew today was a rough one but I survived it. We went for my two month checkup and everything was great, I am in the 95th percentile for my weight and height. But then the nurses came in with some needles and that wasn't looking too good because they were looking at me and not my mommy and daddy. Then they held me still and they gave me shots......I screamed and everyone seem to care and they were assuring me that it was alright but they didn't feel the pain I was feeling. But after it was all over I was fine and when I got home I was happy from my trip in the car seat. Here are a few pics:

Rough Week

So this week as been a little rough because my mommy has been sick with a flu bug and my dad is super paranoid that I will catch something so I spent a few nights with my awesome grandparents this week. Mommy is better now so everything is getting back to normal. We still had the time to take a few pictures of me in my cute outfits. I am smiling now and we are still looking for that perfect smiling picture to be taken but here is a pic of me in my pink outfit almost smiling.

Here is a video of me practicing my backstroke...Since my mommy and big sister are already great swimmers I have a lot of practice to do so I can catch up. I am going to be a big strong swimmer because I practice this everyday on the bed.

Mommy is taking me to an Easter Egg hunt at the church tomorrow and I know I am too young to hunt for the eggs but it will be fun to see all of the older kids running around looking in the bushes....

I also have a couple of big dates coming up, Sunday is grandma Merritt's birthday and then next Wednesday I will be 2 months old.....
