Checking In

Short blog this week...... It has been a real busy weekend as Daddy and Grandpa have been working on the house. They took down the wall between the dining room and the kitchen and made a bar. They aren't done yet but my grandpa has some skills. He is a great carpenter.

Here is me being silly with my fake glasses. They are a lot of fun to wear.

Daddy was sad today as NCSTATE lost the game to get them in the ACC Championship but I tried my best to cheer him up.

Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun this year even though I am still a little confused about all of this hoopla.

One thing sissy and me did was build a haunted house out of cookie and we carved a pumpkin. It was a lot of fun.

Here is a picture of me with the icing from the house all over my face. Yum yum.




Then daddy was getting me ready for Halloween by putting a NCSU tattoo on my face...It didn't quite work right but it still looked good.



Here is my pumpkin, I nicknamed it "Lady Gaga"



The house was a lot of fun but I have to admit, sissy done most of the work.



I have my NCSU cheerleaders outfit on.... I am ready to go to the carnival.


At the carnival there was lots of games but most of them were geared to bigger kids.....I was checking out the moose here to see what I could get into.



Mommy put on one of daddy's Dolphins jerseys and we were checking out the rat toss. I have to throw it up there?




Piper came to visit in her OSU cheerleaders outfit. We tried to get a group photo but there was too much going on....We wanted down.




I gotta tell ya, all that excitement will wear a girl down. I needed to sit on my couch and play a little music before I go to bed. I am worn out.

Where Have You Been?

Ok my bad I know, where have I been?? Well life has been real busy lately so here is a quick view into what I have been up to lately.

Daddy and I went shopping and he wanted to see if I was ready for a tricycle but I had my eyes on something a little nicer..... He kept showing me that little dinky tricycle and I kept pointing to the escalade.





OK, no escalade but how about a sports car.... I will look pretty skippy riding around the neighborhood in this red one.


Here is a picture of sissy being silly......I was helping her get ready to go out on the town.





We met Piper at the SC Zoo and here is me and her sitting with the big monkey chillin.




They wouldn't let me milk a real cow so I had to practice on this one. I am sure Daddy will get me a real cow if I want one.


I wanted to take this bunny rabbit home. He looks soft and cuddly.




They also had some big goats....They were real friendly and was trying to eat everything.



Then we went to the fair up in the mountains. There was this crazy nut who was saying he was going to shoot himself out of this huge cannon.




Then there was a loud BOOM and he went flying through the air and it was crazy.... He could have killed himself.




They had some crazy animals at the fair... Here is Bubba. This dude was huge......He stood which looked like 12 feet tall....



Here is my friend Smiley....... He had some wicked eyes......


Now on to the exciting stuff.... I rode my first ride by myself......It was a barn burner of a ride that was going at least 100 miles per hour...... Just kidding, it was a slow ride but it was fun and I done great all by myself.


I'm a ride junkie now, I want more.... what is this, are they trying to keep me out? I don't see any no pacifier rule so I am ready to ride.



Weeeeee, here I am in my car driving..... I am talented, I am steering with both hands.



All this excitement I needed a drink.... So daddy and I took a break and I had to refresh...




After the fair we were back in the camper and ready for bed.

So as you can see I have been real busy but I promise I will be back soon.... This weekend I have been under the weather and have had a fever so no pictures from this weekend but I will have some more soon.

Hot Summer!

Wow, it has been a long hot summer and I am ready for some cool fall weather..... Well I know it has been awhile but I have been busy getting into stuff and running around and opening drawers and cabinets. So here are a few of my latest pics.

Here is a great pic of me and grandpa....We were just chillin over at his house one day!

Mommy and daddy took me to get some pictures made at one of the local studios...I wasn't too keen on the idea but I loosened up a little once I got settled in.

Then they gave me this puppy to hold.... I know it looks like I am strangling the puppy....Don't worry it isn't real......

Then daddy brought this tractor in and let me get on it....... It was cool...... I turned my hat around just like the farmers in the country music videos and was ready to roll.



Then the guy changed the background and it was just like I was at the beach. I put on my shades and said show me the waves.....



They brought a bucket out but there wasn't anything to scoop into it..... I was a little confused.

Forget this, I will take my bucket and look for some sand.


I couldn't find any sand.....What the heck???? Now what good is this shovel if I don't have any sand?



Then we had some blocks to play with.....I was trying to spell my name but I am not that sure of what all these letters are.

Too many blocks and I just don't know what to do with them. Well maybe I can make a castle out of them.

Ok, I gotta run....I have some good pics of when me and daddy went to Toys R US so I will be posting them soon.

My Second Beach Trip

The Merritt clan all went to the beach last week and me and Mommy and Mimi went down to visit them. Daddy couldn't go because he had to work.

Here is a picture of us girls hanging out at the beach checking out the guys.




Mommy pushed me around in the stroller...Look at all the wrist bands I have gathered up today. I like shoes and wrist bands....







Weeeeeee...Here is me and mommy going down the big slide.......



As I mentioned before... I love shoes especially someone elses shoes..



Look at me mommy.....I am a big girl walking around in flip flops.


OK, I have stolen the golf cart key and I am ready to go for a drive..


Well this master plan failed because I was unable to get into the cart.. So I figured I would just sit here until someone could come give me a ride.



I am sitting here eating some breakfast in my PJ's....I am really not a morning person.


But I can smile if someone asked me to.....



When I got back from the beach me and Daddy hung out all day....He gave me a beret to wear...How does this look?




I like wearing this beret....



Look at this pretty NC STATE WOLFPACK tattoo daddy gave me.... It is cool! I think I am going to be a WOLFPACK fan even though mommy and sissy are Carolina fans.



We had a lot of fun playing around.....Here is daddy making me laugh..

I have had a lot of fun this week....Tomorrow I will be 17 months old....Time sure is flying by...
