Pretty Cool Weekend

I had a pretty cool weekend this weekend..... Friday, Daddy and Mommy took me along with my friend Katie to my mommy's school of nursing so we could see the place. It was pretty cool...There were some nice people there. Mommy is working really hard to become a nurse. Here is a pic of me chilling out waiting for someone to get me out of this contraption.

Some lady came over and started talking to me.....She was making funny faces that made me laugh..... She was a friend of mommy's.

Once I got out of the car seat I was kinda in a "what's next" mood... I was expecting something to happen...Mommy goes to nursing school so I was thinking I was going to see some dead bodies or some blood and guts but daddy kept me in the lobby and I didn't see anything.

So daddy I just sat around and watched people... Not too many people walked by...Daddy said that there should be some nurses in short skirts but I didn't see any.....I don't think he did either... I do know that Daddy likes it when mommy puts on her nursing uniform...I heard him talking about it...




On Saturday, Sean, Randi and Piper came over to the house.....We went to the pool.... I really enjoyed them coming over and visiting. Here is a pic of me and piper hanging out in the water...



We were trying to do the row boat and kick up a storm.....The water was real warm and we had a good time.....Mommy blew in my face and dunked me in the water......WOW was I surprised but I didn't get upset.....It was kinda fun.......Daddy didn't like it too much but he is not a water person so he don't understand....I think I am going to dig this pool thing.......Plus when I get older, my sister Tori told me that the pool has some cute lifeguards.......But I am sure my daddy will be around keeping a close eye on me!


Alright, thanks again for visiting my blog, back to the grind tomorrow with you working folks..I am going over to ma ma and pa pa merritt's and hang out. Ahhhh the life of being a baby!

My First Teeth

Well I am over five months old now and I spend my Monday's over at Grandpa and Grandma Merritt's house.....I have a lot of fun over there as Grandpa takes me outside and lets me sit and watch the dogs play... It is a lot of fun.....Here is a pic of me sitting in my chair waiting to be served...It is time to eat......Hmmm what should I order??

I have my bib on, will someone please hop to it and get me some vittles.....I am like Stewey on the Family Guy show that my dad watches....I want to be served, you are my servants bring me food...I think I want some sweet potatoes today....They are yummy!

After I eat I like to get down on the floor and crawl around....I can roll over on my side and even turn over on my belly but I have a hard time getting back right. My grandpa or grandma has to help me get back right and if they don't do it quickly I get real fussy..

And now for the finally, I have TWO TEETH....... If you look closely you can see them on the bottom. And I love to chew on everything I can get my brand new teeth on.... Remote controls, toys, daddy and mommies fingers.......It is insane.....Something just drives me to chew...... I can't wait until I get some more so I can chew more...

Happy July 4th

HAPPY JULY 4th......

My first July 4th was a pretty exciting one....Mommy and Daddy took me to the annual Coulwood Neighborhood Parade... There were lots of people and everyone was displaying all kinds of decorations and flags.

Here is a pic of me amd Mommy before the parade started.




Here is one of Daddy holding me with Mommy but I am looking down at the ants on the pavement.....There are pretty amazing little creatures.....

The Coulwood swim team decorated the float and my daddy is going to pull it with his beautiful manly man's truck the Big Red Dodge....

Here is a pic of my daddys truck...He let them put the banners on it just for this occasion. My sister Tori was telling some young boy how nice his Nissan pickup truck was...Please, a real man drives a Dodge just like my daddy. I think she was just flirting with him..

The parade was a short route but had lots of floats so it went very slow...So slow in fact that I feel asleep and missed the whole parade.......

After the parade, we went down to the park and they had a DJ that played and they gave out awards.....Our team won the best float award this year. I basically chilled out with daddy and just watched the kids play. But after the park we were ready for the pool...

Look at me swimming...I am kicking up a storm while daddy is holding me. I think I am going to like swimming when I get older.

All that swimming made me tired and hungry....Daddy is holding up my bottle and that is getting my attention while I am sitting on mommy's lap.

Hmmmm, after the bottle I am ready for the applesauce or sweet potatoes...Yummy, I am in my high chair ready to eat...I demand to be served.......
