Pretty Cool Weekend

I had a pretty cool weekend this weekend..... Friday, Daddy and Mommy took me along with my friend Katie to my mommy's school of nursing so we could see the place. It was pretty cool...There were some nice people there. Mommy is working really hard to become a nurse. Here is a pic of me chilling out waiting for someone to get me out of this contraption.

Some lady came over and started talking to me.....She was making funny faces that made me laugh..... She was a friend of mommy's.

Once I got out of the car seat I was kinda in a "what's next" mood... I was expecting something to happen...Mommy goes to nursing school so I was thinking I was going to see some dead bodies or some blood and guts but daddy kept me in the lobby and I didn't see anything.

So daddy I just sat around and watched people... Not too many people walked by...Daddy said that there should be some nurses in short skirts but I didn't see any.....I don't think he did either... I do know that Daddy likes it when mommy puts on her nursing uniform...I heard him talking about it...




On Saturday, Sean, Randi and Piper came over to the house.....We went to the pool.... I really enjoyed them coming over and visiting. Here is a pic of me and piper hanging out in the water...



We were trying to do the row boat and kick up a storm.....The water was real warm and we had a good time.....Mommy blew in my face and dunked me in the water......WOW was I surprised but I didn't get upset.....It was kinda fun.......Daddy didn't like it too much but he is not a water person so he don't understand....I think I am going to dig this pool thing.......Plus when I get older, my sister Tori told me that the pool has some cute lifeguards.......But I am sure my daddy will be around keeping a close eye on me!


Alright, thanks again for visiting my blog, back to the grind tomorrow with you working folks..I am going over to ma ma and pa pa merritt's and hang out. Ahhhh the life of being a baby!

My First Teeth

Well I am over five months old now and I spend my Monday's over at Grandpa and Grandma Merritt's house.....I have a lot of fun over there as Grandpa takes me outside and lets me sit and watch the dogs play... It is a lot of fun.....Here is a pic of me sitting in my chair waiting to be served...It is time to eat......Hmmm what should I order??

I have my bib on, will someone please hop to it and get me some vittles.....I am like Stewey on the Family Guy show that my dad watches....I want to be served, you are my servants bring me food...I think I want some sweet potatoes today....They are yummy!

After I eat I like to get down on the floor and crawl around....I can roll over on my side and even turn over on my belly but I have a hard time getting back right. My grandpa or grandma has to help me get back right and if they don't do it quickly I get real fussy..

And now for the finally, I have TWO TEETH....... If you look closely you can see them on the bottom. And I love to chew on everything I can get my brand new teeth on.... Remote controls, toys, daddy and mommies fingers.......It is insane.....Something just drives me to chew...... I can't wait until I get some more so I can chew more...

Happy July 4th

HAPPY JULY 4th......

My first July 4th was a pretty exciting one....Mommy and Daddy took me to the annual Coulwood Neighborhood Parade... There were lots of people and everyone was displaying all kinds of decorations and flags.

Here is one of Daddy holding me with Mommy but I am looking down at the ants on the pavement.....There are pretty amazing little creatures.....

The Coulwood swim team decorated the float and my daddy is going to pull it with his beautiful manly man's truck the Big Red Dodge....

Here is a pic of my daddys truck...He let them put the banners on it just for this occasion. My sister Tori was telling some young boy how nice his Nissan pickup truck was...Please, a real man drives a Dodge just like my daddy. I think she was just flirting with him..

The parade was a short route but had lots of floats so it went very slow...So slow in fact that I feel asleep and missed the whole parade.......

After the parade, we went down to the park and they had a DJ that played and they gave out awards.....Our team won the best float award this year. I basically chilled out with daddy and just watched the kids play. But after the park we were ready for the pool...

Look at me swimming...I am kicking up a storm while daddy is holding me. I think I am going to like swimming when I get older.

All that swimming made me tired and hungry....Daddy is holding up my bottle and that is getting my attention while I am sitting on mommy's lap.

Hmmmm, after the bottle I am ready for the applesauce or sweet potatoes...Yummy, I am in my high chair ready to eat...I demand to be served.......

I Am Four Months Old Now

Well I am over four months old now and for my birthday I received a gift from mommy and daddy in the form of a doctor visit. Yeaaaaaaaaa........ NOT!

Here is the sign for my doctor, usually when I go through this door I don't have such a good time. This would be a good time to turn around and leave.

Here I am being held by mommy as she checks us in... Daddy is making goofy faces at me making me laugh.

Hurry up folks, I have places to go and people to see. This sitting around with these other kids in the waiting room is boring...


One of the first things they do when they take me to the doctor is take my weight and get an idea of how fast I am growing. The only problem is that the scale is usually very cold and I really don't like it as you can see by the expression on my face. I am blaming this one on my daddy so I am giving him the "look".

Alright, I am over 16lbs........ That means I can start eating lots of good baby food more often.


The paper that is on the table in the room is great for mashing up with my hands....It makes all kinds of noises but I can't seem to get it to tear....Just give me time.


Here is a great picture of me and the doc. She likes to butter me up and make me smile before she starts poking and pulling on me. She is cool though as she just wants me to grow up to be big and strong.


For some reason they like to look in my ears.......I don't know what they are looking at, I stick my fingers in there and I can't feel anything.

So I survived another doctor visit...... They gave me two more shots and I screamed because shots hurt... And when I looked over at my daddy he had his head down for some reason like he didn't want to see them sticking those needles in my leg. What a wuss, I am the one getting the shots...

So I think my teeth are starting to come in because I always need to chew on my fingers and I slobber all the time.

So this should be fun because I am ready to start eating some "steak" and "french fries" just like my mommy and daddy!

4 Months

Good afternoon, I am almost four months old and time is flying by and I weigh almost 17lbs now.... It is crazy, my mommy is now putting 6 to 9 month clothes on me because I am growing like a weed. Attention everyone, I am trying to speak here please be quiet. So now I try to talk to my daddy but he doesn't understand. I hear that might be a problem for the rest of my life because I hear my mommy telling my dad that "he never listens to anything she says", so I guess I can expect the same for me because I am a girl to.

Here is a good one of me lying around after eating in daddy's lap....

My friend Cole is too big for his high chair now so he has loaned it to me. This is my first time in the chair. As you can see I am really excited about this event. hahaha! The good thing was that after this pic was taken mommy fed me some peas.....Yummy...

My friends Shaun and Randi gave me this contraption with all of these moving parts on it and I stand in the middle and move around..It is wild and I love it. It is a little big for me so mommy had to put one of her medical books under my feet so I can see all the cool things.

So much to play with and so little time....

Mommy, I think I am ready to come out now... I am getting hungry; all of this playing has wore me out.

Ok, so everyone have a great week and the summer is officially here so I will be going to the pool. Can't wait until I can beat my dad in a race..Look for some cool pics of me at the pool...Hopefully my dad will take pictures of me and not women walking around in bikinis.

My First Beach Trip

Hey, sorry I took awhile but Mommy and Daddy took me to the beach over the past week and I had a blast. I loved all the activities that were going on at the campground. We stayed at Ocean Lakes Campground. I can't wait to go back. I rode around in the golf cart and I also swam in the indoor pool.

Here is me taking it easy in my lounge chair in the shade on the beach. Lots of people walked by and were talking to me. My daddy found out that I am a chick magnet because he would walk around and all the ladies would come by and say hi to me..I don't think Mommy liked that too much.





Daddy bought me some peas at the grocery store.....Hmmmmm they were good..

My First Applesauce

This weekend was a pretty big weekend for me...I spent all day Saturday with Grandma and Grandpa Merritt as my daddy went to play golf. He got me up real early to take me over there but I was up for it...I am an early bird just like my daddy.

Today I had my first taste of baby applesauce....Hmmmm! It is a lot different from that ol formula I have been drinking forever.

I think I am going to like this applesauce....Can't wait for some other flavors..
