My Beach Trip

I know it has been forever since I posted but things have been really busy and we just got back from the Myrtle Beach on vacation and I have a lot to share. It was a crazy week for me as all of this was really brand new.... We went to the beach last year but I was too little to remember any of it. So where do I start.....



Here is where we stayed....It was at the Wyndham Resort in North Myrtle Beach...It was really nice and had plenty of room and nice cabinets for me to go into and pull everything out....
We were on the 4th floor overlooking the pool with an ocean view. I couldn't wait to get down and check out that big blue body of water.

Daddy took me down to the beach as soon as we got there and we walked down to where the sand was wet and we wrote my name in the sand. Daddy has sloppy hand writing.

So I thought I would sharpen it up a bit but I wasn't too keen on this sand being on my finger....

OK Daddy, lets roll over here and check out these waves......Follow me......

Well that wasn't a bright idea.....That water is COLD............. I am ready to head back in now, seen it, done it.....

Grandpa and Grandma Merritt came down that afternoon and he took me back to the beach and I was telling him all about it. I was trying to explain to him how the waves come crashing in and the water was COLD.......

Then he put me down in the sand and I was not a happy camper....I did not like the feel of that wet sand under my bare feet...I am doing a dance here trying to shake it off.

After the walk down to the beach Mommy and Daddy walked me down to Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. I got on the bull...... Giddy up!

The resort had many activities and one of them was to build your own candy straw....Look at all the different flavors to choose from....

Mommy was showing me how to do it but as you can tell I am not really into this today....I think I want to do something else....

Mommy is pouring some in the straw but I am curious what is going on over at the other tables.

Daddy knew that I wasn't paying attention so he sat me down and tried to explain it to me in more detail. Not real exciting to me here folks... Lets go back to the beach.

Heeeeyyyyy, nobody told me that after we built it that I was going to get to eat it..... If I would have known that I would have been more involved in the selection of the candy colors.....Yum yum.......

One day we went to the aquarium....Here is me and daddy in front of the ships wheel..I was pointing to that girl to get out of my picture but she wasn't listening to me...

We seen lots of fish......There were sharks, turtles and all kinds of other fish.

Mommy, Daddy run that big bad shark is heading right for us......I can see it's teeth...

This lady next to us picked up this creature from the tank and turned it over....It has so many legs and it was flopping them..... I actually touched the legs.....They were soft...

Here is a diver waving to me.... He was down feeding all the fish......They loved him....

We then went out to were the carnival rides were.....Many of them were for big kids but mommy found a couple for me....First she put me in this purple and white tea cup..... I was looking around not sure what to expect here....The lady running the show told me to hold on so I guess that means something is going to happen.



Whoaaaaaaaaaa, this thing is awesome.....It is spinning and I am laughing and having a great time....Mommy is spinning us so let's go faster mom....

This is sooooooooooooo fun......... I want to do this again.............

OK, what the heck is this....... I am not sure I want to do this...... I have a feeling this one is going to move also....I better hold on.....Mommy, don't let go of me..

Sweeeeet.....We are going around in a circle and my zebra is going up and down.......I love speed....I am going to be a daredevil....

Our place had an indoor pool and I was ready to try to swim.....Here is daddy holding me because I don't want him to let go......I am pointing to some to this boy in the pool....Already getting my flirt on.......

HOW YOU DOING?????

Awwwww..... I am getting an oil change..... Well that is what daddy calls it when I get a diaper change...

Here is a great shot of me in my new float....I like this better...On top of the water in control..

Well our week is coming to an end and we have to leave this beautiful place. Here is a great pic of the beach .............

Goodbye sand....... I will be back and hopefully next time I will get down and build sand castles..

Mommy and me gathered some shells to take home with us..... Those will be my reminders of my awesome trip to the beach.
